My wife and I were recently really impressed by the Chefs, and team at Japanese bakery Babychan which is located in Germantown, Nashville,TN. Michelin Guide bought by Sysco?
To my atonishment I have learned the world renown restaurant guide has offically partnered with big food service retailer Sysco. I am surprised mostly because it is a oxymoron that Sysco, which in most chefs opinions dosen't really provide high quality ingredients, would be able to partner with the #1 guide in fine dining restaurants. Shakshuka
Finally had my first try of this breakfast dish. I have known about it for sometime and have seen it on the menu of many breakfast spots, but to be honest it just never sounded like something I wanted to really eat. It's eggs that are poached in a thick chunky tomato sauce and served with pita or somesort of bread.
